Assembly and final inspection

The final step in the process is the assembly and final inspection.As soon as the die is assembled it is checked on surfacequality, dimensions, hardness, etc. If the die passes the inspection it is ready to be send to the customer. Starting its life at the extrusion press producing kilometers of material for the customer.

At the assembly department all of the parts of the die come together. The die is assembled and receives a final inspection. This to ensure that the die is produced according drawing and has no flaws or mistakes. As soon as the quality department releases the die it is prepared for shipment. Ready to be send to another customer that is depending on the quality and technology of our Adex dies!

Adex commisions a new 5-axes Heller

Adex is specialised in manufacturing complex dies. The need for complex dies are increasing yearly at Adex.

The market experiences the benefits and this results in a significant increase in orders, especially spreading dies. Increase in production capacity was clearly needed.
In January Adex installed and commissioned a brand new Heller FP8000, with this state of the art machining centre Adex is able to manufacture dies with the highest quality requirements.
